Software Development
I build software people use.
I build software people use to learn and to work. At E22 Athletic Development I built our data systems in Athlete OS, with play-by-play stats and performance and wellness dashboards for a women's tackle football team. For Planet Bug, published at ACM CHI 2020, I programmed the microcontrollers and movement sensors inside a custom game controller. The lessons in my lab run right in your browser, and I've written 10 Coursera courses on the DevOps, CI/CD and Unix tools I work with. My everyday stack is Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, SQL and PostgreSQL.

E22 and Athlete OS Data Systems
I co-founded E22 Athletic Development and built its data systems in Athlete OS: game and play-by-play stats, performance and wellness dashboards, and the data collection behind them. Coaches and players on the Atlanta Truth women's tackle football team use them this season.

Planet Bug
An educational game about insect conservation, played with a custom controller that works like a camera. I programmed the embedded microcontrollers and movement sensors, and the game itself was built in Phaser.

Creative Coding Summer Cohort
I designed and ran a summer creative coding cohort in 2022 and 2023. High school juniors through college freshmen went from Python and Pygame basics to group games and capstone presentations.

Recursion, watch it run.
Step into a mirror, open nested dolls, write your first recursive function, watch the call stack, then grow a fractal tree.

Git internals, made visible.
No terminal needed. Take snapshots on a timeline and travel back, then see what Git really does: photos, movable labels, and merge versus rebase, all animated.
